Chippewa lake was a hot spot for family entertainment back in the day. The land was eventually forgotten, until a group of savvy developers decided to transform the land into a gated retirement wonderland. The challenge was to create a brand that harkened back to yesteryear, but also said "upscale, world class." And, to convince Northeast Ohio audiences that they would rather retire here - in their one-time playground - than in Florida.
